JOHN W. GRABIEC, age 78, beloved husband of Mary Ann (nee Brill); loving father of Keith Grabiec, Laura Conyngham (Alex), Lynn Grabiec, Elizabeth Grabiec, Karen Grabiec (Dan), Amy Blanke (Matt) and the late Joseph Grabiec; proud grandfather of six; dear brother of Sandra Murdoch and the late Dolores Grabiec. Proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran - Vietnam War. Passed away May 5, 2023. Funeral Mass Friday, May 12, St. Patrick Church (West Park) at 10 A.M. Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of CLEVELAND, 4420 ROCKY RIVER DR. AT PURITAS, THURSDAY 4-7 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Patrick Church (West Park) www.stpatrickwp.org or Disabled American Veterans www.dav.org

Mary Ann and Family,
It is with deep regret I am writing you about John’s death. We have been good friends for at least 65 years. I remember seeing a picture of John in his dress uniform, it made me proud to have known him. I will miss our twice a year phone calls updating our families accomplishments.
He will be in our hearts —- Always.
