Jan, I am so sorry to hear about John. Just received copy of "Caduceus" and saw the news. John was a good man and friend. I remember traveling to the MS Gulf Coast to visit you when you were attending MSCW. I have many good memories of John and treasure them all. My prayers are with you and your family.

I remember you from Centenary UMC and your family farm. I am retired, and live at Carter Plantation in Springfield, Louisiana.

We are praying with you all for the lost of John.He is now with our god .Let his memories last for ever

We are thinking about all of the Wardlaws tonight and are really heart broken. He was a friend, a brother, an uncle, an advisor but most of all, very dear to all of the Nances.

Jan, I'm so sorry to hear about John. I'm sure you know that I lost Barry in Dec., so I know what you must be feeling. Please know that you and your family are and will continue to be in my prayers. John was such a nice guy and a real southern gentleman and will be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know him.

A few years back I had the pleasure of meeting John at Beth and Joe's wedding. Little did I know that I would get to know this man a lot better when he became our landlord. I have never in my life met a sweeter, gentler, kinder and gracious person that John. He will be missed by so many. My family loves him for how he has been with us. I pray for his family, losing him will be so hard for you all. My thoughts and prayers will be with you for many days to follow. Rest well dear John.
