We think of our brother Jack on occasion, Glee and Jack's witty banter and Tom our service together as elders of McLean Bible Church, the last two or three with Jack serving as the Chairman during several challenges which he handled well. We are thankful that he is with his blessed Jesus with whom we will all be reunited one day.

Joan,
My deepest condolences to you and your family. As you know, I worked with John at Unisys where I gained the greatest respect for him and the values he represented. He was a true gentleman.

McLean Bible Church is indebted to Jack--as we knew him--for his service on the board of elders and chairmanship at a critical time in its growth. Also, to both Jack and you, Joan, for starting the single parent ministry that today is proving support to many. A real man's man and example to all, we know he is safe in the arms of Jesus whom he loved and served faithfully with all of his Scottish heart. May the Lord give you, Joan, Doug, Janet and grandchildren peace and comfort now and in the days to come.

Jack was a wonderful gift to our church, an honorable man. He always had a kind smile for everyone. I had the pleasure of working beside him on mission trips and he was a hard worker! God bless you, Joan and your family and gift you comfort.
