Bonnie – I would like to add my condolences on John’s passing. As you know, John and I were good friends during our Conniston and Forest Hill High years. We would ride the Palm Beach Bike Trail to the inlet to fish or take the City Bus to Lake Worth, then walk over to the Pool. We would join in a touch football game after school or just hang out together with other friends.

John was always in a good mood. I never knew him to have a bad word to say about anyone. He was likeable, fun to be around, and made friends easily. John was simply an all-round good guy. I am sure John was a good husband and a great father. I know he will certainly be missed by those who loved him and by those who knew John as their friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Bonnie and family,
It was heartwarming to see all the outpouring of love and friends at the memorial "party" on Saturday. John was a very special person that always had a sparkle in his eye and always a positive outlook on life. He will be missed by those who remember him so fondly and his beloved family. I will continue to keep all of you in my prayers as you carry on with all the wonderful memories that he gave you in the over 35 years of marriage. May the strength and love that he had and shared be with you and give you peace.

Remembering you and the children Bonnie. Lifting you all up in prayers as you continue to go on without John. He was one very special person who was loved by many. We go way back to our highschool days and such a special friendship. So very glad I got to hear his voice, as weak as it was, to be able to tell him I loved him and will see him again. There is a party going on in Heaven and he is right in the middle of it. We should all be looking forward to joining John one day and seeing him " at the party" Love to you and family as we continue to lift you up in prayer.

What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.

I remember John from High School at Forest Hill High. He always had a way of making you at ease and a wonderful smile that would warm any girls heart. I have not seen John since High School but I want his family to know he was a well liked person by all his friends from Forest Hill High back in the 1960's. Rest in Peace John.
Sincerely,
Rebecca Ryder Carney

John was a life long friend that I grew up with in the Churchill Road area in West Palm Beach during the 50's and 60's. We attended the neighborhood schools of Palmetto, Conniston, and Forest Hill High schools graduating in 1963. During the following years so many of us men were drafted into the Military service because of the Vietnam war and we were sent to the 4 corners of this world.
During life we all remember and cherish those early years of freindship with our school mates....fishing together, summer swims in the Palm Beach canal and over at the Lido pools in Palm Beach and just a great innocent time in our lives.
I wish to convey my condolences to Bonnie and his family.
