It is with sadness we announce the passing of John Whitecross on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Eileen. Loving father of Linda Watson (Kenny) and David. Cherished grampa of Amanda, Elyse (Ryan), Matthew (Bethanie) and Connor (Amanda). Great-grampa of James and Logan. John was a committed volunteer in his community: St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church Islington, Hustler Young Men's Bible Class, Toronto General Hospital, Yonge Street Mission, Scott Mission, Dovercourt Boys and Girls Club and the Boy Scouts of Canada. Special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at Freeport Hospital for their compassion and care.
