John Whitman Obituary
Jack was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Winifred Whitman. Jack is survived by 6 daughters, Barbara Mueller of Fayette, ME, Elaine Wood of Castle Hayne, NC, Peggy (Lowell) Christopherson of Summerville, SC, Nancy Whitman of Melbourne, FL, Jacqueline (Jerome) Belton of Castle Hayne, NC and Leslie Whitman of Columbia, SC; his sister, Arline Wiley of Salisbury, MD; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service, Wednesday, September 22, 2010, 10 a.m. at Niskayuna Reformed Cemetery, Niskayuna. Memorial service in Melbourne, FL at a later date.
Contributions to Vitas Hospice, 4450 West Eau Gallie Blvd. Suite 250, Melbourne, FL 32934.
The family wishes to express our sincere appreciation to Vitas Team #185, especially Dr. Shapiro, Teddy, Shannon and Trevor for their exceptional care and compassion shown to our father and family.
