John Stuart Wilkinson, 83, of Middletown, formerly of Rome, NY, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at the Chestnut Hill Lodge, Glenside, PA.

John was born in Baltimore, MD on July 8, 1942, and was the son of the late Edward and Blanche (McCotter) Wilkinson.

He was a retired radar technician for the US Government. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force. John enjoyed gadgets and diving into genealogy.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his loving wife, Johanna (Gaulteri) Wilkinson; a son, Timothy Wilkinson and a brother, Richard Wilkinson.

He is survived by his sons, Richard Wilkinson (Anna) and Christopher Wilkinson (Julie); four grandchildren, Jenna Eicholtz (Nate), Timothy Wilkinson, Chase Wilkinson, and Hannah Wilkinson; two brothers, Rodney Wilkinson (Anna) and Robert Wilkinson.

There will be a Celebration of Life at the Franklin Hotel, 301 S. James Street, Rome on November 22, 2025 at 6p:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the PA Wounded Warriors Inc., 1013 Mumma Rd., Suite 203, Wormleysburg, PA 17043.
