I want to extend my sympathy to the Williams family.I met John at Topeka Raceway and I was a young racer that did not know which end of the car went what direction. John adopted me and taught me the in's and out's of the reace game(even helping in minor skirmashes occasionally). He also loaned me a car when I wrecked and needed to run for points, which i promptly wrecked! You will always be missed

I will remember Johnny with smiles instead of tears. He would always pick on me that he was older than me and other silly stuff. He was a great brother in law for the short time.

My sincere sympathy in the loss of John: a brother, uncle, grampa, husband, cousin, and friend. I've enjoyed seeing the photos posted on-line, which brought back some favorite memories. I'm a cousin to John. My folks were Tom & Dorothy Adams. Bob McLaughlin was my uncle on my mom's side. My sister, Shirley Adams, lived at the McLaughlin household and attended high school when you all lived in Winchester. Always enjoyed visiting there, watching the card games, listening to Aunt Virginia's jokes, and playing hide & seek with Tommy, Johnny, my brother Stevie, and sister Carole.
