John Daniel “Dan” Williamson III

I was fortunate to have shared years at Georgia Tech with Dan as a fellow member of Kappa Alpha Order. He was one of several "older brothers´ who guided me and others my age in surviving the academic rigors of Georgia Tech and in forming life-long friendships through Kappa Alpha. I will miss his soft voice and ready smile, but my memories of him are ever with me. On behalf of the eighty or so surviving Kappa Alpha brothers of that era, we send our deepest sympathy and our profound respect to his family. Rest in peace, brother Dan.

It si sad to learn about your passing, Brother Dan. But there are nice memories of the days at Tech and Hattiesburg High. As we would conclude at the KA house, "Wheat barley!"

My condolences to Dan´s dearest sister, Jane Jones, and his beloved niece Sharon. Dan had decades of friendship with my late brother-in-law Lewis Myrick. Those two boys had many heartfelt phone conversations and shared many memorable adventures.
May God comfort Jane, Sharon, and all who loved this fine man.
