I am sorry to hear of your loss. Keep all of your fondest memories ad cherish them forever. Not a nice thing to see another Wishart leave us but perhaps he is in a better place now. Blessings, Ed Wishart from BC Canada.

Jack and Betty were my parents Chet and Betty Dutkowskis dear neighbors on Plainview in Flushing. They were so kind to my parents during their health struggles. Jack was an honored guest at my wedding in 2000. Sending love and big hugs to his family.

My piano teacher as a youngster was Betty Connor Wishart whom I adored. Unfortunately, I did not know Mr. Wishart but his obituary gave a glimpse of his wonderful life. My sincere sympathy in the loss of your beautiful father.

Jack was alway a joy and a pleasure to have in my Music Therapy groups!
The way he played the drums brought a smile not just to me but to everyone around him!
He will be missed but take comfort knowing God gained a joyful rhythmic angel in heaven!

I enjoyed your dad and played a lot of hockey with him on the Underwood team back in 60s and 70s, he was fun to be around and I am sorry for your loss. And Cindy you used to babysit our sons Lance and Kirk a few times.

I feel so honored to have gotten to spend time with Jack. His smile was truly contagious. When I would come visit him and ask for a hug, he would toss what he was looking at to the side and immediately throw his arms up for a hug. He was an inspiration to others in the therapy gym as he would do whatever was asked of him not only amazingly well but with incredible speed (all while smiling). He will truly be missed and continued to be thought of all the time. So sorry for you loss, Cindy.

Cindy, When your dad and your whole family became part of mine, the holidays and other events became more enjoyable. Grandpa Jack was so much fun. There was the time he had Christmas underwear and put them on over his trousers. He always made everyone have a good time.
I am so glad you had the last several years with him. He worked tirelessly to care for others and he deserved to be cared for the way you did. What a treasure he was!
