Uncle John & Aunt Jeannette
You opened your home to me in 1996 for almost 4 months when I first arrived in the United States giving me time to understand where to live and stay. I am so grateful for your generosity and remember that time of my life so well. I can't thank you and your family enough for everything you have done for me and my family. I can only hope to be the same generous role model for my wife and children as you were to your family. God Bless and Rest in Peace.

James & Lisa Hsu's Tribute to John Wu's Memorable Life

Lisa and Jim have shared many of unforgettable life experiences including many hiking, fishing and traveling trips with John's family throughout our life journey in the past five decades. We have shared many common interests along with joyful laughable moments in our life of long lasting friendship.

It is hard to realize he was gone but a lot of our joyful stories remain forever in our memories such as in college life both family playing card games during many of the snowy nights and camping/fishing in the river and lakes in Binghamton. We exchanged our reunion visits many times after we separated and landed our careers in different cities. We had several vacation trips together during retirement. A remarkable one was a joint wide west adventure to visit Arizona Grand Canyon and Utah Zion National Parks. We brought back many good memories to old days in college life singing the familiar songs, making jokes each other and eating good foods together.

We will certainly miss you and remember your encouraging life and friendship.

John Wu has planted the seeds of love and friendship wherever he went.
He who goes out weeping,
bearing the seed for sowing,
shall come home with shouts of joy.
He is watching us even the burden is too heavy to bear.

I've only known John Wu for a few years. I never saw him without a smile, and he always had a warm heart. He left a very nice impression with me. He and his wife were always sweet to my husband and I even through language barriers. He will be missed. Hugs and prayers to Gene, Vicki and Marcus.

I only knew of him through his son, Gene, via Facebook, but feel the loss as well. I wish his family my deepest condolences, but also celebrate his full and rich life.
