I remember John from working with him back in the 1980s at GE, he was always smiling and was always very helpful to me and others - just a great guy to work with. My condolences to his family.

To John's family, I had the extreme pleasure of working with John at GE/Martin Marietta, etc. for years before John retired. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. John was always such a bright light in the office. He was a gentlemen, he was smart, he was funny, he was always willing to share his knowledge, and he always had a smile on his face. I think about him often and the days when we would work on problems together and I will never forget everything he taught me. Most of all, I will never forget his kind, caring ways. I wish you peace and good memories as you go through this sad time.

to the Yuill family,
Have known John for over 40 years, first as a customer of Daly's, and then a friend and riding companion later. John' passing will leave a true void in the Berkshire riding community. He was a great advocate of Cycling. A kind man and a good friend. Our prayers and condolences.

I´m so sad to see this, what a nice, kind person John was, & Shirley too. Some of my fondest childhood memories were of the backyard baseball games at the Yuill´s house with Michael, Lisa & Stephen & the rest of us neighborhood kids, & also the sledding down their hill. Mr. & Mrs. Yuill were so welcoming to us & I felt right at home at their house. I saw John last year when he brought his taxes in, & we had a nice talk about those days. My deepest sympathies go out to you all...this is a huge loss and my heart aches for you. May he rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of John´s passing - I worked with John at General Dynamics, and he got me into riding and took me on my first 50 mile ride. He was funny, kind and a gentleman. I have fond memories of him with our Thursday night rides. May he rest in peace. We my deepest condolences.
