AYERS, JOHNATHAN WAINWRIGHT - age 60 of Powell, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2006 at UT Hospital. He was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by: wife, Patricia. Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, James Scott and Toni Ayers; daughters and sons-in-law, Dawn Marie and Dino Tatangelo and Lori Lynn Putman and fiancé Steve Alport, all of Michigan; step-daughters, Reneé Thompson and Hope Passmore, both of Powell; 13 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brother, Ronald L. Ayers; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Curtis Lilly, all of Michigan. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Thursday at Weaver's Chapel with the service to follow at 8 pm, Rev. Delmus Bruce officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Friday at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens for an 11 am graveside service. Arrangements by Weaver Funeral Home.

We became acquainted with John when he began delivering glass to Winter Seal Products, Inc. Everyone at our company liked John. He was a gentle soul and will be missed. Condolences from Roger,Susan, Chris,Chrystal,Audrey, and Lynn.
