Johnathan Robert Lund

Johnathan R. Lund, beloved father, son and brother, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 29, 2023. Born on July 11, 1985 in Worcester, MA, Johnathan was a devoted, caring, hard-working family man whose infectious smile and charm left a mark on everyone he came in contact with.

With his passing, Johnathan leaves behind his loving wife Brooke Lund. As a devoted father, he leaves behind his four children, Jaylin, Savanna, Nick and Dallas. He was the proud son of John Lund of Whitinsville and Brenda (McNeill) Kohlstrom of Millbury, former stepmother Annie Pasquino, Darlene Whitney, former stepfather William Kohlstrom. Johnathan will also be sadly missed by his sister Emily Walters and her husband Kevin Walters of N. Smithfield,RI, along with his 2 nephews, Noah and Will, his brothers, Matthew Lund of Whitinsville, Anthony Lund of Oxford and Michael Kohlstrom of Millbury. Among his immediate family, Johnathan was the beloved grandson of Donald and Ellen Lund of Millbury, Charles and Barbara McNeill of Florida, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless number of friends.

After graduating from Blackstone Valley Technical High School in 2003, Johnathan continued his education by enlisting in the U.S. Army where he served a member of the Military Police. Following his service in the Army, Jonathan joined what he considered his second family (The Applebaum Family) at Framingham Salvage, where he worked for 18 years.

Outside of his dedication to his family and work, Johnathan was the adventurous type and enjoyed spending time outdoors, camping, having bonfires, riding motorcycles with his brothers and friends, floating down the Saco River, spending time on home improvement projects or wrenching something mechanical with his hands. Johnathan will be so deeply missed by his family and friends, but his light will shine for eternity within everyone he touched.
