NORTH AUGUSTA, S. C. - Ms. Johnnie Mae Mims, 57, of Weston Street, entered into rest November 12, 2013. Funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddie Freeman officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Ms. Mims, a native of Edgefield County was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She was a 1974 graduate of North Augusta High School. Survivors include a daughter, Kimberly Mims, North Augusta, SC; two sons, David Mims, Augusta, GA and Devin Mims, North Augusta, SC; her mother, Ora Mae Hammonds Mims, North Augusta, SC; two sisters, Tareetha Flowers, North Augusta, SC and Jacqueline (Johnny) Herrin, Raeford, NC; seven brothers, Johnnie (Eloise) Mims, Belvedere, SC, George (Brenda) Mims, Graniteville, SC ,Rick (Laverne) Mims, Belvedere, SC, Terry (Angela) Mims, Clearwater, SC, Kenneth Mims, Bath, SC, Steven (Jackie) Mims and Rev. Jerome (Chrissy) Mims, North Augusta, SC; 12 grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. Friends may call the residence. G. L.
