Worked with Johnny at Canada dry one summer. What a humble gentle man! Kids recognize him and we're in awe! He ways had time for a smile and acknowledgement. Very sorry for family and friends loss. Actually a loss to anyone who had the pleasure of meeting or working with him
GOD BLESS
Sincerely Carolyn Larkin

Probably one of just a few players of the time that would excel in todays game. I got to see Johnny Green play when I was a kid at the Cincinnati Gardens. He was my favorite basketball player ever. I have created him on my PS4 nba game. Sorry I never got to meet him. Sorry to the family for their loss.

My Grand father was amazing man... He achieved so much in his life. One of my fondest memories was when I use to go visit him in his office at Mcdonalds and I would be excited as he would always have a box of Mcdonald´s cookies ready for me. Rest in Peace Grandpa Johnny you would be sorely missed.

My uncle was a big fan of Johnny´s while he played at MSU. Years later when my uncle suffered a stroke I contacted Johnny at his home. He was more than agreeable to place a phone call to my uncle in the hospital. The act of kindness lifted my uncle´s spirit, and was so appreciated by our family. Johnny Green was as unselfish with his time as he was with the basketball. He will always be remembered with fondness.

A great player for the NY Knicks, my favorite team. He definitely made his mark with his amazing jump. Sincere condolences to the Green family, sorry for your loss. May God be with you in your time of sorrow.
