Roy and I would like to send our sincerest condolences to Patsy and family. Johnny was a friend to the Smeyas. We would return to Lamesa on occasion from our missions work and always be met with such joy and kindness at church from Johnny. Johnny’s mom was a great inspiration to me growing up in Lamesa over the years. We will be praying for Patsy and family. Blessings

I never met anyone that loved racing or worked harder at it than Johnny. He'd never leave a race he wasn't still in until everyone he knew was out also, he'd stay and help no matter how long it took. I'll miss racing with him and Bruce. God Speed old friend,.
