Johnny Taylor, Jr. Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 28, 2025.
Johnny Taylor, Jr., age 47, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, following a tragic accident. He was born on March 26, 1978, son of Johnny and Beth Taylor. A proud father of two children who lit the darkness in his world. Throughout his life, Lil' Johnny had a remarkable way of navigating challenges and close calls, despite never emerging unscathed from them all. Always pushing through with a mix of grit, humor and resilience that became part of who he was. He had a way of finding the humor in everyday moments that made any time spent around him enjoyable and memorable.

He is survived by his children, Weston Monroe Taylor and Annalise Marie Taylor, parents, Johnny and Beth Taylor, sister, Haley Taylor (Greg), nephew, Hagen Lambert, nieces, Rhea Lambert and Adalynn Unbehagen, and an extremely large extended family. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Johnny and Louise Taylor, grandmother Rose Ballard, grandmother, Violet Cornett Guitreau, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, French Settlement, on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 10 am.

I'm truly so sorry to hear this about Johnny. It's been a long time since we've seen or talked to one another,
but it's still very sad news to hear. Johnny was always so nice to everyone.
I went to school with him while at French Settlement High many years ago.
My prayers go out to your family.
