Jon Ritcherd Berry

I'm saddened to learn of Jon's passing. He welcomed me when I came to HP in 1978, and was indeed a delight to work with and to learn from. My prayers are with you all.

Dear Berry Family,
Way back I supported such a great group of T&M sales folks...Jon being one of them. A dear, kind, and generous friend he was. We send our prayers of comfort and love to all of you.

I worked with Jon at Hewlett Packard for my entire 27 year carrier. I remember Jon as always being out-going and funny. He had this funny "giggle" laugh that always made me smile. Often he would come down to my cubicle in the service department with a great big grin on his face, and I knew he had a joke or story to tell. He always made me laugh. After we both retired from HP, I continued to see Jon at his house now and again because he would hire me to do odd jobs, as this was my new business, We both saw each other slowing down as the years passed but he always kept his sense of humor. This world is a little less happy now that Jon is with our Lord. He's probably telling Him a joke as I write this. God bless you Jon and I'll pray for your family's comfort during this difficult time.

So Very sorry to hear this... Jon was a great friend and mentor. He helped me join HP long ago (from Westinghouse) and mentored me along. He was a great caring friend, with a great outlook on life. He loved to tell a story and offered great perspectives! He will certainly be missed.

God bless the Berry family. We are praying continuous prayers of faith, peace, and understanding for all of you. Jon, was exceptional in his caring and understanding for others. Jon, knew how to make all days happier and workable, with his advise and funny jokes. The HP Baltimore office was blessed by his presence. Thank you, Lord, for allowing all of us time with Jon.

I worked with Jon for many years at Hewlett-Packard. Jon was always a joy to work with, a ray of sunshine for us all. He was always the sales professional who had devoted customers at his main account, and was able to find the fun in whatever he did. My condolences to his family who have countless memories of what a treasure he was.

What a tremendous loss...Jon was truly one of the good guys! He was fun, funny, and fun-loving, and made sure all those around him were happy and felt cared for. For those of us who worked with him at HP, we felt honored to know him and count him as a friend. My condolences to the family, and may God watch over you during this time.

Jon was always smiling and kept us all laughing in the HP Baltimore sales office. He made work fun! My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Many of of us from the old HP Baltimore Office, will always remember Jon's humor and his mentorship. These are just a couple of his many gifts to us. Jon would been the last guy in the world to ever think about leaving a legacy, he was too humble for that. But he did and he would be so proud of us if we continue to live his legacy at work and at home and pass on his gifts to our coworkers, and our families.

I was so sad to hear about Jon's passing. I will always have fond memories of Jon in the Baltimore office both in Hanover and Caton Ave. He could always make me laugh. His jokes, storytelling, "Mr.Wison", and love for painting. My deepest condolences to the family and his dearest friends.

Everyone in the HP Baltimore office loved Jon dearly. He kept us laughing, brought the holiday spirit into the office by playing Santa and handing out gifts, and was a true friend as well as coworker. He is part of my fondest memories of that special time at HP. Will miss him very much. Prayers for the family.

It is with great sadness to hear this news. I was very young when I started at HP and Jon was always one that you could count on to help you through the process. He was a great guy and will be remembered as such. And all the golf stories... My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I know your hearts are broken. Jon was such an inspiration to so many. In all our years working together he did nothing but make people smile and laugh. Anytime Jon was in the office we all knew it would be a good day. Prayers for all the family.
