Jon Duckett Obituary

Jon Stewart Duckett, 81, of Hickory, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at The Addison of Lincolnton.
Born Oct. 8, 1940, in Young County, Texas, he was the son of the late Stewart and Annabel Lee Kisinger Duckett.
Jon was active with the local Marine Corps League. He loved golfing and watching NASCAR. He loved his family and will be dearly missed.
In addition to his parents, Jon was preceded in death by a brother, Don Duckett.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Terri Harris Duckett; five children, Keith Duckett, Brian Duckett, Angela Duckett, Jason Duckett and wife, Casey, and Melissa Fox; and 10 grandchildren, Mercedes, Cody, Amber, Cameron, Tyler, Jacob, Karlee, Jackson, Alayna, and Chloe.
A celebration of life service will be held at Catawba Funeral Home, Saturday, June 25, at 12 p.m., with Pastor Arthur Mason officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation in Jon's name.
