Jon George Hein

Jon was born 11/29/1955. Survived by his father Daniel L. Hein. His mother Darlene Hood recently passed away on 3/7/2023. Now survived by his brother Louis Hein, and sister Reggie Kramer. Father of Natasha Hein-Williams and grandfather of Freya Williams. Fiancée to Ida Halon. He was a man who lived life to the fullest. As a retired general contractor and carpenter, he also enjoyed a variety of hobbies. He wrote for The Golden Nuggets 49er's fan blog, was an avid review writer and event planner for Yelp. Besides being a devoted San Francisco 49ers fan, he loved the ocean, bird watching, photography, reading, writing, golf, traveling, eating at restaurants and cooking. He was an amazing man who liked to have intelligent and lively debates about all types of subjects. Jon passed away at age 67 on 1/17/2023 from metastatic Pancreatic Cancer along with congestive heart failure. He suffered through a multitude of ailments, yet he tried his best to move forward in life against a body that constantly betrayed him. Through it all, he maintained a kind and generous heart for his family and friends. He is so greatly missed by us all. A memorial will be announced at a later date in the future.
