Jon L. Kraps, 61, formerly of Superior was called to be with the Lord on October 23, 2005 at his home in Mesa, AZ. He taught and coached in the Superior, AZ school district for 35 years. After retiring he lived in Mesa and stayed active working handyman jobs and enjoying his grandchildren. Jon is survived by his companion Lorri Tomerlin, son Erik (Lisa), and brother Joe (Gale). Grandchildren, Jared, Jessica, Anissa, Katlyn, Marissa, Jake and Jordan. Jon was preceded in death by parents Don and Jewel and beloved son Doug. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 28, 2005 at 1:30 P.M. at the Superior Jr./Sr. High School, 1500 Sunset Dr., Superior, AZ. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the "Friends of the Superior Public Library," 99 Kellner Ave., Superior, AZ 85273. Arrangements handled by Mtn. View Mem. Mr. Kraps was a great teacher and coach. I was so sad to hear of his death. My heart goes out to you and your family. Take care of yourself Eric. God Bless you all during this difficult time.
