I have the fondest memories you in 1992 when we played together briefly. You were such an amazing drummer and person. Tough to accept you left us so soon. Rest well. I'm hoping our paths cross again

Descanse em paz Jon, você é um dos melhores bateristas do Metal Anternativo e do Heavy Metal, dono de uma levada simples mas ao mesmo tempo genial e marcante. Saudações de Minas Gerais/Brazil

One of my favorite drummers of all time. He definitely influenced my entry into rock and metal drumming with his gritty, yet tasteful playing style. We never met in person, but I followed him through the years and I´m thankful for his talent as well as being one of the coolest to ever hit the stage. Rest easy my friend. I hope to shake your hand and give you a big brotherly hug on the other side. One Love! -Will C.

My first memory of Jon was meeting him at a high school party in Westfield, Massachusetts in 1986. It was my senior year and word quickly spread that my parents were away on vacation, hence my house would be the party location. Jon had spiked hair, charisma, confidence, and a jovial personality filled with wit. He knew everyone and everyone knew him. My interaction with Jon was brief but memorable, as he reassured my nerves as the crowd grew bigger and bigger. I only crossed paths with Jon a handful more times during 1986, but his kindness and support generously given to me will always be my recollection of him. Rest in peace, Jon.

Had a a lot a great memories of Jon. I helped him with all of his dogs when he was going on tour for years. We became really great friends. His 4 dogs were like my dogs and actually one of his dogs got so attached to me we shared custody for a little while but then he saw how attached one of them got to me so he gave him to me. That was so nice. Got a lot of great hook up to concerts and shows because of him. It was really nice to go to a lot of his concerts and to see them. It was really cool to be thanked by name on one of his cds. We had a lot of fun when he was in his home town. I am so sad to hear about this . Far too soon. xoxo Denise Prayers to his family. Grateful to have known you
