In memory of
Joseph Hobson

One of the smartest classmates I ever had at Malvern Prep, Jon Boles possessed wit and timing well ahead of the 1970s.

My wife and I first met Jon when we moved to Ventnor last summer in the house next to his mother-in-law. It didn't take long for him to invite us up on the porch to talk and have a beer. Jon instantly made us feel welcome in our new community.
He was the type of guy that after talking to only a few times, you felt like you knew him your whole life. We were really looking forward to spending many summers with Jon and are truly saddened by the loss of a great neighbor and all-around good guy. The world needs more people like Jon.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the rest of the family and we are sorry we couldn't make the services today. We look forward to toasting to Jon and celebrating his too-short life with all of you soon.
With Love,
The Frauenbergers (200 N. Swarthmore)

I first met Jon during our first year at Miami. I was fortunate to call him friend from that moment on. I will never forget all the fun times we had during and after Miami. It's a sad moment to lose such a friend way too early. My deepest heartfelt sympathy to all of Jon's family and many friends. We are all better people for having known Jon.

To Jonathon's family:
I am sorry for your loss.
Jonathon and I spent some time hanging out as kids and had recently rejuvenated our friendship via Facebook after 50 years or so. I remember him as a happy and funny guy who enjoyed hearing stories as well as telling them.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Cheryl and the Boles Family. I remember Jon when he worked at the Williamson Restaurant, at the Presidential and also Catering with us. I would drive him and others home, before Jon got his license, and Jon would always be able to take what happened or who he saw that day, and turn it into a funny story. He always made everyone laugh. We will miss Jon. He was to young to have left us.

My family grew up with the Boles'. From as far back as I can remember, Jonathan was always there for us through thick and thin; a very loyal friend. He was particularly close to my older brothers. I will miss being in his company and enjoying his legendary story telling.
My deepest sympathies go out to his entire family.
