Jonathan "Jon" Corbitt

I just today found out about the tragic loss of Jon. I will always love our sweet and cheerful "DJ Slim." He was such a precious comfort to me when I had to teach the dance lesson at the Skyline Club the week-end after our young, dear friend and fellow dance instructor, Patty Clark was killed in an auto accident. He was the best dancer's DJ the club has ever had. He was such a good guy who was so proud of becoming a father. He seemed so wise for his young years. This earth lost a wonderful young man much too soon, but Heaven gained a loving angel. Love you Jon.

Jon, I remember meeting you after your dad and I returned from Afghanistan in 2011. You were an amazing young man and I remember the look of love and pride your dad had for you as the young teen that you were then, and the man you became that increased the pride and love that he has for you. May you rest in peace in God's warm embrace until that day that we all meet again.
