Here at the Morton Grove Public Library we were devastated to hear of the bad news that took such a joyous and positive patron, and a friend. Jonathan was in the library almost every single day, always with a bright smile, always a pleasure to see. He and I would discuss the joys and pains of baseball, and how great the Cubs are, even when they weren't. Jonathan's presence will be sorely missed, but NEVER forgotten, may his kindness and positivity continue to spread for a very very long time, I will think of him at every Cubs game from here on out. Anna and Family, I am so sorry to hear about Jon. I enjoyed working with him at the Library. I’ll always remember the joy he had for life.

One of my closest childhood friends. All my best to the brothers.

It was wonderful to enjoy the studio at the Highland Park Art Center with a dedicated group of artists who all loved Jonathan. He always shared a kind word with everyone and encouraged us with our art practice. Ann would bake the most delicious treats he brought to the share with the group. It was sweet to hear about Ann, his love and devotion to her would shine in his eyes. He will be missed by all. With sympathy for all his family, Mary Grenning
