I saw a terrific performance at a church in Orlando Florida. He sang "should´ve been loving you" and walked in the aisles singing and greeting audience. I have adored that song ever since. Means so much and I was the only person riding a motorcycle! Felt odd to see no other bike in that huge lot. And I had my son with me. (Toddler) I had to be there for that song and he was such a welcoming guy!!! An awesome talent and beautiful soul (my impression) My son is now almost 29 that was probably 27 years ago!!!! His song resonates just as powerfully today!!!! I was so self conscious being alone and on a bike . I am thrilled i went bc no one wanted to go and Thank God I didn´t let people or fear stop me. So many wonderful artists but Mr Pierce had the song of conviction that made me act and not sit on the bench. So so sorry he had to go back home already! I´m sure he´s walking with Jesus and in charge of the welcome center. I am over the top appreciative that both he and our wonderful Lord gave me the courage to go ! Honored and so humbled , thank you for sharing his light with us

2 years have gone by since you passed away. Luckily we still can hear your amazing voice whenever we want to. Naomi Judd, who got you started has joined you in Heaven. Heaven must be filled with the lovely voices of you both. Whatever you were searching for here on earth I know you have found with Jesus.

Just found out this talented singer had passed away. I try to mimmic his voice and style especially when he was with The Imperials. Wings of Love live with him singing is absolutely phenomenal. A talented singer that is missed.

Jonathan, I can’t believe it’s been a year since you left this earth to be with Jesus. Im so glad that I can still listen to your beautiful voice with all the wonderful music you left us. Until we meet in Heaven. Love, Denise Pearson

What a shock because I so loved his voice and testimony! While some journeys are long and some short, I am saddened by the loss. Praying for the family.
