Jonathan Dixie Powers

Dixie was one of the nicest people I've ever worked with. My condolences to his family.

dixie was the first person I met when I came to Centron. It was a joy working with him. I was the new guy , but he immediately made me feel like one of the team, offering me positive advice and support. A class act. he will be missed.

I have fond memories of our many years spent as colleagues working together at Centron Film Studios in Lawrence, Kansas.

My deepest sympathy to Shirley and their family.

Dixie was a great friend and companion. Discussions with him always were stimulating and enjoyable. His laugh was infectious. He was one of the most creative people we have known. Knowing him improved our lives. We miss him.

What a wonderful guy. I loved working with him when he was at KU--one of the nicest guys I have ever known. And before he left Lawrence Betty and I had the great pleasure of being in a bridge group with him and his lovely wife. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Shirley and the rest of his family. I remember "Mr. Powers" who lived across the street on Providence when I was a kid. My sister and I often played with Julie, Diane, and Jill, riding bikes or acting out plays! Heartfelt sympathy to the whole family.
