I grew up on a small farm on Sheffield Street down the road from Jono Sutton’s Summer home. We had many adventures together until our farm became a junior high in 1955 and our family moved to Long Island. I still return several times a year to remember growing up on the farm and time spent with Jono and his family. He was one of my first friends and I am saddened by his passing.

Seems like yesterday that Jonathan was enjoying his studies and friends at Columbus Academy. This certainly formed the basis for his future studies and successful career in architecture and urban development. It is a pleasure to have known him. Blessings to his family.

The Columbus Academy class of 1962 had a graduation class of 22 and a very tight bond was formed. We always looked forward to seeing Jon at our various reunions over the last 58 years. It is with great sadness's that I have to report his passing to the remaining members of our class. He will be sorely missed.

No one did more for the Community Arts Center and its iconic home. His spirit will live on in the buildings he designed with such grace in combining contemporary beauty with respect for history. My sincere condolences to Karen and your entire family.
