Our family were so very sad to read of Jonathan’s passing. I well remember him as a student at The Children’s Place nursery school in Conestogo. He was a fun loving mischievous little boy and always had a smile and helping hand for any one.
John and I moved to Tobermory 15 years ago and would be delighted to have you visit. Our prayers and thoughts are with you both and with Stephen's family.

Thank you for being a friend, colleague and mentor to all of us on the Canadian CE Team WM.

I worked with John for about ten years at Waste Management. I know he had a strong impact in customer service. John was a team lead and spent his days dedicated to supporting his fellow colleagues who, in turn, supported our customers. Although John left WM almost two years ago, I remember him fondly as someone dedicated to work efficiency, accuracy and excellence. John also had a playful side and on team events, he shined. He loved our potlucks and at Halloween and Easter his boxes of candy were truly appreciated. I know I still can't believe someone I knew passed at such a young age in this way. My condolences extend to John's family who I know he loved very much. Their support was truly appreciated by John and helped to inspire him to chase his dreams of becoming his own boss.

Johnny was one of the best bosses I've ever had. I'm absolutely devastated he's gone. He has built such a great industry with his friends, and deserves to be recognized. He was an amazing, kind, inspiring, and very friendly guy. You will be missed.

Dave and I were so sorry to hear of Jonathon's death. It impacted us especially hard since our daughter Karen was nursing on the CoVid 19 floor the night Jonathon died - she came home saddened but not knowing who the young man was. And of course son Steve and wife Kristan went to school with Jonathan and his brother. We met because of sports and soon knew what a loving and supportive family you were. I have read the many condolences and am touched by what a kind, generous and caring person Jonathon was. May your precious memories sustain you in this difficult time.

Allan, Fern, Steven & family we wanted to express our deepest condolences for your loss of Jonathan. For some odd reason I remembered I had this photo we took on one of your first visit to our house with your two boys; it was April 1982 and I was able to find it. We wanted to post it here to remember the happier days and the good memories we have of all of you with our kids. Jonathan would have been almost four (he was a cutie!) Now the memories are the only things we have left but no one can take away not even a dreaded virus. Sending our love & virtual hugs from Phil, Virginia, David & family; Adrian & family and Joselyn & family. Sorry for the duplication of photos in error.

As Jonathon's oldest cousin I have many years of fond memories of him. Such as when he came into our family and the extreme joy he gave his parents and all the extended family, the many family reunions we enjoyed gathering around and eating the aunt's home cooking and baking. What stands out in my mind is how humble John has been about his accomplishments. I remember him as quiet and yet jovial person, always wearing a smile.

Jonathon, you will be sorely missed. And as large as our family is, there will always be a gaping hole without you.

Fondly and forever in my heart, cousin Victoria.

I worked with John at Waste Management and will always remember his kindness and patience. He never hesitated to drop what he was doing to help others, and would always offer me a ride home on rainy days so I wouldn't have to take the bus. He was such a lovely person and I am so incredibly sorry for his loss. Sending my love to him, and my deepest condolences to his family.
