Jophery is an American hero, Professional Baseball Player, Pioneer Stuntman, Leader, Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather and friend. His legacy will forever be remembered in the hearts of his family, friends and the homes of America's most beloved and iconic action films.

I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one.

Just saw that Jophrey had passed more than a year ago. He doubled me in two films, "Speed" and "Heaven's Prisoners". He performed one of the greatest stunts I have ever witnessed, the bus jump in "Speed". I just spoke of him in an interview I did regarding "Speed" without knowing he was gone. I often have told of my interactions with Jophery. One of the nicest people I have ever met. Thanks, Jophery

I am just finding out that you are an Angel now.
I'm so sorry to hear of your passing my friend from the past. I often remember our days dancing at the Late Edition in the valley and the fun we had.

I knew Jophery, "Brownie" many years ago in San Antonio, TX. Had the pleasure of meeting his sisters in LA. Kind, strong, a real gentleman, always had time for others. The world is diminished by his passing.

I grew up two doors from Jophery in Grambling, LA. My brother Mike Osborne (Mickey) was his playmate. My friend was his sister Bobbie. Much peace and comfort to the family in your bereavement.

I saw Mr. Brown's only major league game. He made an impression on me, and I wondered why he never pitched in the majors again. Then I'd see his name attached to one good movie after another and followed his stuntman career. Didn't know him personally, but I felt I knew enough about him to take joy in his success.
