It was eight years ago, when God picked you up,
hugged you with love, and welcomed you into Heaven.
We loved you like there was no tomorrow, and then one day there wasn't. You would now be 24 years old.
If we could have stopped what happened that tragic day we would have.
We still ask why? But still cannot understand, no matter how hard we try.
To us you were a caring and sensitive young man.
Sometimes, memories sneak out of my eyes and roll down my cheeks.
I know you wouldn't want us to cry, so when we cry out tears alone, no one knows but you.
We can't believe we will never hear your voice, or see your face again.
Our hearts were torn in two.
One side filled with heartache,
The other died with you.
When you were 4 1/2 years old, you put your hand on my shoulder and said - I KIND OF MISS YOU.
(Pappa and I were gone ON THE ROAD for weeks at a time.)
For the rest of our lives, we are going to be a little bit sad and lonely And we will - KOND OF MISS YOU JORDAN.
We measure time, But we cannot measure loss.
When you lose someone you love, they never really leave you.
They just move into a SPECIAL PLACE in your heart.
