Jose Luis Diaz Roman

Jose Luis Diaz Roman, age 56, passed away on September 21st, 2025, in Phoenix, Arizona. He was surrounded by his loved ones at the time of his death.

Jose was born in Guerrero, Mexico, in 1969 to his mother, Reyna Roman, and father, Pedro Diaz, who both preceded him in death. He was the middle child of 8 siblings. Jose moved to Arizona in the mid-80's after marrying the love of his life, Remedios.

Jose had a strong faith in Catholicism his entire life and will always be remembered for being a humble man with a big heart and offering a helping hand anytime he could, even when it was difficult for him. Jose loved the outdoors and dedicated his life to creating beautiful landscapes for a living. Jose was extremely handy and loved fixing things. There was very little that he could not do. He loved music, especially mariachis, and enjoyed having a homemade Mexican meal with his family.

Jose is survived by his wife, Remedios; children, Anibal, Ariana, Brandon, and Dylan; grandchildren, Alivia and Nicholas; siblings, Juana, Yaret, Terecita, Luz, Areli, Mauro and Pedro; and several nieces and nephews.

José Luis Díaz Román, de 56 años, falleció el 21 de septiembre de 2025 en Phoenix, Arizona. Estuvo rodeado de sus seres queridos al momento de su muerte.

José nació en Guerrero, México, en 1969 a sus padres Reyna Román y Pedro Díaz, quienes fallecieron antes que él. Era el hijo del medio de ocho hermanos. José se mudó a Arizona a mediados de los 80 después de casarse con el amor de su vida, Remedios.

José tuvo una fe firme en el catolicismo toda su vida y siempre será recordado por ser un hombre humilde de gran corazón, siempre dispuesto a ayudar, incluso en las dificultades. José amaba la vida al aire libre y dedicó su vida a crear hermosos paisajes para ganarse la vida. José era extremadamente hábil y le encantaba arreglar cosas. Había muy poco que el no pudiera hacer. Amaba la música, especialmente los mariachis, y disfrutaba de una comida mexicana casera con su familia.

A José le sobreviven su esposa, Remedios, sus hijos, Aníbal, Ariana, Brandon y Dylan, sus nietos, Alivia y Nicholas, sus hermanos, Juana, Yaret, Terecita, Luz, Areli, Mauro y Pedro, y varias sobrinas y sobrinos.

A Funeral Mass will be held on October 3, 2025, from 09:45 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, located at 13720 W. Thomas Rd.

A Burial will be held on October 3, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, located at 9925 W. Thomas Rd.
