Cuz what a great guy to be around on the basketball court always trying his best for his team and alway encouraging those around him to be the best they could be. I could tell he lived life to the fullest. May the Lord Bless his family for he will be greatly missed I cant believe hes gone Daniel Salinas Mission tx.

My deepest condolences go out to his wife and family. Joe would come to our office and fix our copy machines, and I will always remember that he was always smiling like nothing bothered him at all, never once saw him upset or mad at anything. He will be greatly missed, its not everyday you have the honor to meet someone with such a kind spirit.

Joe was the best uncle in the entire world he was like a dad to me. He actually got me my first bike. I miss him alot and my thoughts prayers go out to hilda, lori, mr. And mrs mercado and my aunt Bibi. Joe was an amazing man and he'll be missed by the half of the American population he knew. Love you joe

We are all going to miss you dearly. I remember every time that I saw you, you were always smiling. Not once do I remember where you weren't joking around and making people laugh. It came natural to you.
Now you are blessed that you can watch over all of us and we will always be smiling for you. Take care brother.

As I heard of Joe's passing, it took me back to memories of when we were all in high school. The years where we grow up from being a teenager to facing our adulthood. I met Joe through his sister(& friend) Hilda. Joe will be missed but I know everyone was blessed to have met the man Joe became. My deepest condolences to his family (father, mother, & sisters)& his wife whom I will keep in my prayers in this difficult time.

I knew Jose Luis through his work at our office on our printer and he always brought and shared a smile when he came. He will always be remembered in that manner.

my favorite memory of Joey is when he would not let me ride his cool big wheel with a key he had forced into the handle so he could pretend to start it. said o could not ride because i was a girl!!! so when he went inside i rode it and the stupid key cut me on my knee!! of course i ram crying inside and he told me" i told you not to ride it mensa" i have that scar on my knee to this day. lol i have thousands more memories of joey and i am going to treasure each and every one of them .. i will miss you joey.
