Jose T. Reyes

Jose Tobias Reyes passed away peacefully in his home on November 27, 2018 at the age of 73. Jose is survived by his wife, Berta Sonia Reyes, two sons, Marvin Romeo Reyes and Roberto Isidro Reyes and siblings, Marta Isabel Reyes de Ortiz, Isidro Reyes, Araceli Reyes de Robles, Rosario Reyes, Rosamelia Reyes de Nativi, Jorge Alberto Reyes, and Julio Cesar Reyes.

Jose was born March 5, 1945 in San Alejo, El Salvador to Isidro Reyes Manzano and Maria Erlinda Montesinos de Reyes. He immigrated to New York City in 1969 in search of a better life. He married the love of his life, Berta on December 17, 1970. Together they raised their two sons in Houston, TX. Jose's pride and joy were his grandsons, Josef and Jacob Reyes. His grandsons were his life and he spoiled them endlessly. His favorite moments were spending time with them, they were the light of his life. He attended church on a regular basis with his wife, Sonia. He was a loving husband, father, brother, friend, and one of the kindest human beings you could ever meet. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
