There will never be another Joe. not that handsome, not that smart, not that open, not that adventurous, not that full of life, not ever.

Josef was one of the most charismatic, fun-loving, and big-hearted students I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with. Even if he turned in an assignment late or missed lacrosse practice, his big smile and warm greeting would disarm any potential reprimand. He is unforgettable, and I will cherish the laughs, smiles, and friendliness he brought to my classes, the lacrosse team, and the personal interactions we had over the years.
