Josefina Mercado Obituary
Josefina Andrade Mercado entered eternal rest on Monday, March 23, 2015. She was born on January 12, 1921 in San Antonio, Texas. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her husband Juan G. Mercado, beloved children Augustin, Charlie, Carolina and son-in-law Pancho. She is survived by brothers Fermin, and Jesse; sons Robert (Amelia), Frank, Johnny (Debra), Rick (Diana), Rosario (Belinda), daughters Diane (Manuel), Rita, Nancy (Henry), and Sandy (Jose), 45 grandchildren, 95 great grandchildren and 43 Great great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Cima Hospice, San Antonio Nurses Benita White and Ruben Garza, and Med Team Hilda Gutierrez. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 26th from 2 o'clock p.m. to 9 o'clock p.m. at Castillo Mission Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. A formal procession will depart the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. on Friday, March 27th for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church. Interment will follow San Fernando Catholic Cemetery II.
