On behalf of my family, we wish belated but heartfelt condolences to the Yepez family. I hope your family is as touched as mine has been to be surrounded by love and compassion of family, friends and community. We are comforted in the faith and knowledge that our parents, your mom and my dad, are with their Lord and Savior. God bless you all.

Mama Fina, you will be missed greatly and we just want you to know that we love you so much. You've always taught us to be strong, pray, love, and be a family. As being the 1st grandchild, I will always hold my memories close to my heart... I'm happy that you got to see me get married in the church, and that you were able to spend time with mary (tu maria-1st great grandchild). I know that you are in a much better place and that you are with papa se now, continue to watch over us and we hope to be together again.

Mama Fina was the only grandmother in my family that I knew. Although she only spoke spanish, I knew that she loved me dearly. I'll miss you.

God be with you "Mama Fina"

Mama Fina welcomed into her family over 23 years ago. The "family" that I was so blessed to marry into was and is a reflection of her loving devotion to God and the blessed Mary. The Yepez family, through Mama Fina's guidance, showed me what I had missed out on for so many years. The family is all about love, laughter, and celebrating God's many blesings. I am truly fortunate to have been accepted and invited, by Mama Fina, to share the joy of being a Yepez family member. She is resting now; I loved Mama Fina, and I know God loves her too. I 'll miss you suegra. Raul

Momma Fina was, without a doubt, one of the strongest and holiest women I have ever known. Of all of the people I have ever known, she probably had one of the roughest lives but also one of the biggest smiles. This is probably because she only had three great loves in her life: God, Family, and the Blessed Virgin Mary. I was unable to speak much to her because I didn’t speak Spanish, but I was able to learn who she was by simply observing what she did for the last 19 years.

Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord,
And let your perpetual Light shine upon her.
May her soul
And the souls of all the faithful departed
Through the mercy of God
Rest in peace.
Amen.
