Joseph Allain

This is what I know about Joseph Allain, my Father-In-Law:



He loved Anna.

He loved Dorine.

He loved Tricia.

He loved John.

He loved Cathy.

He loved Steven.



His family, especially his grandchildren brought him much joy & happiness.



He smiled alot.



He had a great sense of humor.



He enjoyed his life.



He enjoyed his memories.



He adored his friends.



The ocean called his name and he responded with great passion.



He was dedicated & hard working.



He had strong hands and a kind heart.



He is loved and missed very much.



That is what I know about my Father-In-Law, a man I have great respect for.

Just wanted to put some thoughts down... I've been thinking of your Dad & Mom, as well as my Dad & Mom alot lately, with the Holiday's upon us and all... Although, I've only known your Dad a few years, he made me feel like I've known him for ever. I wonder, quite often, what your mother was like and what kind of relationship we would have had. I'm certain we would have gotten along famously and I'm sad that I never got to know my Mother-In-Law. Your parents raised wonderful, kind, honest children and I'm blessed to be a part of your family. John is the best thing that's ever happened to me, so I thank your parents for bringing him into this world. He sure does remind me of your Dad. :)



This Christmas may be difficult for all of us, but the love we share is special. And that, with the love of our parents is what will get us through it. Do you suppose my Mom & Dad are friends with your Mom & Dad in heaven? Another thought I ponder quite often...



Anyway, Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to the Allain's & their wonderful families, my wonderful family. I love you all very much. xoxo Love, Laurie

I was deeply saddened when I heard tonight of your dad's passing. I would never have known if a little voice had not insisted I make contact with John. I guess I need to listen to that voice a little bit more often.



I should probably let you know that you used to know me as Ed Guerra and I was in John's graduating class at St. Bernard's.



If any of you want to contact me, feel free. John has been sent all of my contact information.



Shelly (my wife) and I will be praying for all of you since we both know the pain of losing our parents. The only one left is her Dad.

I want to take this time to say how sorry I was to hear about your dad. I can still see him and his brother Andre at Searstown sitting and talking on the benches. I would stop and talk to them. They would make me laugh. I also have some great memories of when your mom (Anna) when she was alive and our families would get together, she would make home-made ice cream for all of us. She was a wonderful woman. Great memories and great times in our hearts forever...My dad (Henry) was their cousin. I am sure they are all in heaven talking of the 'old times' and laughing with your mom at his side. Our deepest Condolences...

So sorry to hear about your Dad who we remember from a very long time ago when you used to visit us (Adrienne and family in Scoudouc, NB) and more recently for those of us who visited a few years back. Dear Allain family,

I am deeply sadden that your father has passed. I can only say the there will be no more suffering for him. I will keep the whole family in my prayers and that we as a family live life to the fullest.

Joseph was a kind, honest, giving, caring, loving man.. He was loved by many and will always hold a special place in our hearts.. May he now rest in peace.

Dear Patricia, John, Cathy, Steven and Dorine......

I, (your second grade teacher at St. Leo's School, "except Dorine") would like to offer you my sincere condolences in the passing of your dad. I will always have fond memories of him and also of your dear mom Anna who was a good friend and a great help while I was at St. Leo's.

Thank you for visiting me in Canada a few years ago... that was the last time I saw your mom.

You are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May your mom and dad both rest in peace. Be sure that they are now watching over you with their great love.
