Jay was such an amazing person and friend. I enjoyed working with him at Nortel. He gave me a lot of laughs. Never a dull moment! Event after we all left the company, we got together from time to time for lunch and more laughs. He was one of the best. So very sorry for your loss.

Such tragic news. I worked alongside Jay when he came to the UK to work at Nortel. I organised his accommodation near Windsor Castle and got his first shopping provisions for him (and showed him how to work the electric kettle for coffee and tea!). Such a lovely guy and a great colleague. So sorry for the loss of a good soul.

So sorry to learn of the passing of Jay Barta, an entertaining & upbeat fellow. I recall he and his father's (Joe) hi-jinks at the Texas Stadium press box, where we all members of the stats crew. Jay was a 5-star person & Cowboys supporter.

Gone too soon friend. You always made us laugh and were a true blue, loyal friend. Rest with angels and tell Mark to keep watching over us. Blessings to your family and friends. May peace be with you all. Nicole Hutchison-Moore and family
