Joe was my last connection to the old Central Trust gang from the early 70s. We were bill collectors then, an often unpleasant job but greatly helped by Joe's wit, humor and willingness to help. RIP Joe.

Dear Connie and your wonderful family, This is a huge loss for all who knew and loved Joe. I learned late about our loss and sharing the pain of Joe's untimely passing. A truly. wonderful man. Joe cast a warm and welcoming shadow all his life. Our R-H-Community has lost its #1 Cheerleader. We will feel Joe's presence, everywhere I will be among all those missing Joe, holding all of the family close in the days ahead.

To Joe & Your Family -
I was blessed to know dad. It was his compassion for his family and the R-H community that brought our paths together. He was always at your volleyball games routing you and your athletes onto victory.
He worked hard to arrange the Hall of Fame inductees during Home Coming week. He often was seen in the main office making arrangements for special alumni events. Joe - it didn't matter if I ran into him at Wegmans, on the field, in the gym, or in the parking lot -- he always had a big smile and hug for me. Made me feel special. You had the BEST dad - and he was so proud of his entire family. I pray that you find peace in your memories with him.

Connie and children, we were so sad to hear about Joe’s passing. When you were East Church St. neighbors to my parents, Pat and Dave, we always enjoyed seeing you and Joe. We had some great conversations! Prayers for you as you say good-bye to a wonderful husband and father. May your happy memories help heal your sorrow. Kathy and John Baxter

I worked with Joe at the old Central Trust Company back in the early 70s. Joe was always a bright light on a dark day. Still remember our lunch at, was it, Callahan's, when we surprised with free grasshoppers on St. Patrick's Day. Gone too soon.

The support for the high school volleyball teams was always front and center each fall. Your support for your son and family was always so impressive. We need more people like you in the world - your passing will leave a 'hole' in this world. Many fond memories.... Peace and strength to your family during this difficult time.

My sincere sympathy to Joe's family on this sad news. Joe was a year ahead of me in high school and even though we were not close friends, everybody knew who he was and considered him to be such a nice, friendly guy. He did so much for RH and kept alumni events going. Rest in peace, Joe.

To the Family....What Sad, sad news. I first met Joe in 7th Grade, a Real Gentleman, and only grew from there. The true measure of a Man, is Not what he takes with him from life, but rather what he leaves behind. We were truly Lucky to have known him. God has gained one of the Best.
