It is just two years that you were taken from us. It seems forever to be without you. We were all fortunate to have the love of family and friends around us as you took your final breath. You had wonderful, devoted friends. Your family misses you and we have not forgotten you. Steve and Amy always have a place for you at the table every holiday. I am sure you are still telling everyone in Heaven all your stories. Love you and Miss You. Your Loving Wife, Kathy

One year ago today God took you to his house for eternal peace and rest. You were truly blessed to have the love of your family in your final days and be surrounded by those that loved you most. There was no evil in your house, just love of family and those that wanted you to know how much they loved you. We miss you.

Pop, you often said, "If you really love me, show me while I still walk the earth, not after I'm buried in it". I pray that you felt the unending love of your family and friends throughout your wonderful life, especially these last few weeks, when you needed it most. I was truly gifted to be with you when you passed, and I am more so blessed to have enjoyed you in life. You are a model father/grandfather, adoring husband, outstanding friend, and compassionate person. No better man walked this earth and I pray the good Lord grant me the strength and wisdom to be half the man that you are.
To my family, including our many friends, I am in awe at the love and support you have shown my father and all of us. Not only after his passing but, more importantly, how you celebrated his life, has shown me a love and way of life that I will, most certainly, pass on to my children.
Among my father's last sentiments were expressions of love and gratitude to God for blessing him with each and every one of you. Regardless of whether you have been a lifelong friend, or faced him on the bocce court every Tuesday... Through this love, he found strength and peace. On behalf of my family, you have our eternal love and gratitude.

To My Beloved Husband: You fought long and hard for 7 years, but we did it together every step of the way. I would not leave you alone. You said you would die with a hole in your heart, I am sorry. You were surrounded by those that loved you most when you took your last breath. Until we meet again. Your Loving Wife, Kathy

He will raise you up on eagles' wings
Bear you on the breath of dawn
Make you to shine like the sun
And hold you in the palm of His hand - Joe's favorite church song and he is in God's hand now

Dear Kathy and families,
It was with a heavy heart we heard of Joe's passing. He made all feel welcome in his home; enjoyed cooking and feeding all who came to his home. He was a gentle soul with a kind heart. I'm sure God has received Joe with open arms and he is now at peace. love Gladys and Bill

Joe was and remains my closest friend. He always made those he touched feel very special. His laughter was infectious. The bocce games in heaven just got an awful lot brighter. Our loss is God's gain.

Kathy:
Our deepest condolences to you and the boys. You and Joe and the boys were special neighbors that we'll always remember. Joe had a wonderful spirit and zest for life and a great sense of humor. Our favorite Joe story will always be him in your backyard on Tremont St "operating" on the shark. Good stuff. Take care. May Joe rest in eternal peace.
