Dear Pearl, Cyndi, Katie and Family --

I just heard the sad news -- please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of your husband, father, grandfather -- a wonderful, warm man who Jesse, Paul and I remember fondly all those years ago. Katie and Jesse spent many a happy hour with "gam" and "gamp" who were always so kind and generous of spirit. I hope all of the wonderful memories that I am sure you have will, in some way, provide comfort in the difficult days ahead.

Sincerely,
Wendy, Jesse, Alec and Paul Iwanski

I was sorry to hear of Joe's passing. He was a patient of mine in the dental office for many years, but what I will always remember are the caricatures he made of me performing in Fiddler on the Roof, Oliver and Funny Thing happened on the way to the Forum. I have these framed and hanging in my house and whenever I look at them I will remember Joe. He had many talents.

My Uncle Joe was the best uncle anyone could want. As I child, I could listen to his wonderful stories for hours. I loved those holidays when he, my Aunt Pearl, and my cousins Cindy and Kathy would be with my family and our grandparents all day. It was magical. As I grew up Unlce Joe was always there, always encouraging me, and always telling his great stories! I'll have those memories to treasure always. Uncle Joe, I'll miss you.

Your niece, Susan

My deepest sympathies in the loss of your husband, father and grandfather. I will always remember the Nutcracker that he made that you shared with me that decorated our home for many years at Christmas. He was such a wonderful artist and I bet everyone waited for your Christmas cards each year. Together with my husband I wanted to express our sympathies. Mary Lou and Steve Dunbar
