Our family has very fond memories of Father Browne coming to our home for holiday dinners. We loved seeing him at St. Briggita's when we were there for Slovak Lodge functions, and at the University of Portland where my husband and I visited him. I especially appreciated that Father said the funeral Mass when my husband, Kenneth, passed away in 1999. Everyone who knew him, loved him. He has a special place in our hearts. We will miss him.
