Linda, I've been out of touch for so long that I just now saw where Buck had passed. I am so very sorry for your loss and his kids' loss and I'd love nothing more than to give you a huge hug. I can remember being employee #0037 at Eagle with you & him. It was one of the happiest experiences I have had in my life. Please get in touch with me & Mom (yeah, we're still together). I'm listed on FB & LinkedIn. My info is everywhere. Please contact me. Again, I'm so sorry for your loss.

As a former resident of Jasper Georgia I regret that I never got the privilege and pleasure of meeting the man of many honors and much Cemetery. It comforts me to know that he is interned at the National Cemetery at Canton Georgia near my Uncle Jimmy G. Curtis US Army Sargent E6 who passed away in 2019. May all these Great American Heroes Rest In Peace.

I never met the General, however I served at Rose Barracks Bad K, Germany during the time he was there. I enjoyed reading excerpts of his bio where he described flying with Kris K. The General was going to send me a copy of his bio but I never received it.

My he RIP!

While I was serving as a visiting soldier in the late 1970s, I met Buck professionally at Redstone. As an Army civilian, he showed great consideration in showing me exactly what I needed to know during my visits. Seven years later, he remembered me, and he hired me as I left active duty. He was always kindly and professional at work, and a major influence in my decision to remain in Huntsville. We lost daily contact as we both changed jobs, and I regret that we lost all contact when he moved. But I will always remember Buck's dedication, kindly smile, and friendly handshake.

I worked for and with General Camp in the ALARNG and worked with his company while working as a Department of Army Civilian. Enjoyed our relationship always. He was a great person to work with, a very down to earth people person and a hard worker himself. As noted in obituary, we stayed in touch via email. Hate to hear of his passing. Prayers for all the family. He will be missed.
