I am sorry to hear that Joe Campbell passed away and I extend my sympathy to his family. Joe was the eldest of the Campbell clan and was a regular at our delicatessan at the corner of Hubbell and Abbott which my parents owned from 1954 through 1960. The Campbells were the largest family and they all visited the store along with the Grys boys, the Fords, Paul Nidasio, Bill Redden, Dick Maroney and Bob Culm. Hubbell Street was a great place in those days and I remember it fondly.

May Joe rest in peace.
