Joie was a sweet and accepting soul. He had a unique ability to turn every person he met into a friend. I first met Joie and Kim through my husband, Mike Richardson. From the moment I met both of them, I felt as if I had gained lifelong friends. Joie's smile was always warm and welcoming, and he will be deeply missed. Kim, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

One of the best men around. I am honored to have considered him a
friend. Although I moved away over 10 years ago I thought of him and Kim often and the times Alex and had just talking. Not sure he ever got used to my dogs (especially Levi) or Bonkers.

I was blessed to have met Joie years ago. For some reason he took a liking to me from day one. He and Kim, in true Casey, fashion came to our wedding proudly sporting their trademark Hawaiian shirts. He was truly one of a kind. I will miss you my friend.

Joie was definitely a unique and inspiring guy. He and Kim were so far ahead of the people in the cards and collectibles industry that is now such a world wide phenomenon. When my wife Stacey and I decided we wanted to start a sports collectibles store we tried to emulate what Joie and Kim had done. Joie never treated us like we were in competition with them, rather he would do whatever we needed to aid us in our endeavors. He beamed with pride at being able to watch everyone he helped not only succeed but flourish. That was one of my favorite things about Joie, the fact that he was so willing to help. He and Kim are no doubt responsible for so many collectors life long passions. Thank you Joie and Kim.
