Joseph Francis Coleman, 86, of Cape Coral, FL (formerly Pittsburgh, PA) passed away on May 8, 2022. He was born on December 3, 1935 in Pittsburgh, PA. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Carol Coleman. Joe is survived by his five children, Deborah Whiteside (Paul), Colleen Patrick (Larry), Kathy Caruso (Tony), Joseph Coleman (Evalyn), Sean Coleman (Kelly), 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He also leaves his brother Donald Coleman, nephews and nieces and so, so many precious friends.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 8:00am on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 10 St. Mary's Lane, Cecil, PA 15321 followed by an Interment at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at 9:30am. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hope Hospice 2430 Diplomat Parkway E, Cape Coral, Florida 33909 or online at https://donate.hopehcs.org/.

A tremendous man who I am grateful was part of my life as my dads best friend, and the father of my best friend. Mr. Coleman loved his family, and his success as a father and husband is evident in all of his children. Sharing a few pints with him in October 2021 at his and my dad´s watering hole was a gift from God. Love you "Red Dog.
