Mr. Dobson taught me (and probably hundreds if not more kids) how to drive. He was very strict, but an excellent teacher. He stressed safety first and foremost. I got my license on the first try in 1983 and have had only one (ugh) ticket in my entire life. Rest in peace, sir. Your impact has been felt by so many of the students you helped along the way.

I´m gonna miss you so much, Grandpa. I´m so grateful for all the times you would support me and donate to any of my school events or fundraisers. You were truly such an incredible person. Thank you for everything you´ve done for me and my family. We love you so so much and I hope you´re enjoying Heaven and looking over us. Rest in peace,Grandpa.

I was too ill to make it to the visitation. I “played” basketball for coach from 1976-78 at Tomah. I said “played” because I was not on the floor as much as I was on the bench. Coach saw how much the game meant to me and was always supportive of my play when I did get the chance. The lessons I learned from him I have used for the last 35 years of coaching. I thank you for all that you did for me and you will be missed.

When I was 13 which would´ve been about 1966? Joe was our baseball little league baseball coach in Cobb. He assembled a great bunch of kids and put us in our proper positions.
Thank goodness I re-connected with him two years ago and we golfed at Dodge Point Country Club the Saturday morning before the Cobb corn boil. He had a great memory and we shared stories of tournaments we played at Hollandale and the Cobb corn boil and winning them both.
Joe made a difference, I was so blessed to have him in my life!
Condolences to the family. He was a great guy! Jim Smith
