Joe Drayton was the best.I am proud to say he will always be my brother-in-law. Throughout the years he was always very nice to me. Wherever and whenever I saw him he was the same Joe, never changed. Please take comfort in knowing he left behind a wonderful legacy, a warm, helpful Christian man.I will pray that the Lord will give you strength and comfort during this time. With sincere symphathy

As a former student, and a"trouble maker" in his class, I have the honor of remembering Mr. Drayton I'm my own distinct way. He set me straight on more than one occasion in school. You will be truly missed Mr. D. RIP and may the family find peace and comfort in one another.

Joe was a very special person. He had such a gentle spirit and infectious smile. So sad when I heard of his passing. Many prayers for the family and friends.

To be absent from the body is to be present with the lord. Words cannot explain you all hurt. But know God is with you all every step of the way. I know it's hard but God will bring yall through this. Stayed prayed up and keep the faith.

Cynthia and family, I was very fond of Joe, he left a legacy at Greensboro Elem. I am sorry for your loss.

It can be so hard to face the first year without your loved one, but the love of family and friends can carry you through.

My condolences go out to the family. I pray and ask God to give you all the strength to deal with the passing of this prestigious man. I was a student of his and I am greatly pained by the lost of a great teacher. Realize that God makes no mistakes and he is in the best, safest place where can rejoice with the lord on all occasions.
